The PaedDr. distance learning program takes place online. Students are enrolled at the University and receive the title Doctor of Pedagogy (PaedDr.) issued by the same university. During the distance learning program, you will receive the best personal support from a German-speaking team consisting of personal contacts, a competent scientific team and technical support.

The PaedDr. distance learning program at University is a clearly research-focused distance learning program. The research performance within the framework of the students’ rigorous work is the core element of the PaedDr. distance learning program.
Procedure of the PaedDr. distance learning program
The PaedDr. distance learning program essentially consists of three parts:
- Writing and Presentation of the Exposé
- Writing the Rigorosum Thesis
- Defense of the Rigorosum Thesis
The students are enrolled at the University and receive the academic degree “Doctor of Pedagogy” (PaedDr.) from them.
The distance learning program is 100% online.

Master’s degree of the 2nd Bologna level in the field of pedagogy.
To apply for the PaedDr. distance learning program, please use the registration form. Your application documents will then be checked by representatives of the University. You will receive feedback on your admission to the PaedDr distance learning program and access to the learning platform via email. There are approximately 14 days between submitting your application documents and the actual start of your studies.

The costs for the PaedDr. distance learning program amount to € 11,900 and include:

Flexible Payment Options:
Total fees for one-time payment: €11,900
Total fees for semester-based payment: €12,600 (3 installments of €4,200 each)
Total fees for monthly payment: €12,900 (12 installments of €1,075 each)
Payment is only possible via bank transfer.
The completion of the doctoral program is marked by the defense of the prepared Rigorosum thesis.
After successfully completing your PaedDr. distance learning program, you will be awarded the academic degree ‘PaedDr.’ (Doctor of Pedagogy) by University, which will be conferred in the form of a diploma. The academic degree PaedDr. is recognized and may be officially used. The title PaedDr. is placed before your name; however, an abbreviation as ‘Dr.’ is not permitted
The “Doctor of Pedagogy” (PaedDr.) is an academic degree that can be assigned to level 2/3 of the Bologna Process and that you can acquire at the H+ accredited private University.
In Austria, the use and registration of the title are permitted according to § 88 UG Abs 1 & 1A.
The academic degree “PaedDr.” must only be used before the name
The following generally applies:
Academic degrees (titles) may be used in the form in which they were acquired, provided that they were acquired in a member state of the European Union at a university that is recognized and registered in the home country.
After successfully completing your PaedDr. distance learning program, you are entitled to use your title as follows:
– PaedDr. First Name Last Name
The PaedDr. does not entitle you to use the title “Dr.”.
