for the PhD program at the VSEMvs University of Economics and Management of Public Administration Bratislava

Enrollment for the PhD program is possible at any time.

Additionally, a research concept must be developed. Here you can find this year’s list of topics (September 2022) https://pobs-fernstudium.com/themenliste-phd-programm/ from BUEM University Bratislava. The new list of topics will only be announced in the new year. You will then present your research concept during the admission interview in September at BUEM University Bratislava. Upon positive feedback, you will start the PhD program and receive the contact details of your supervisor.

The application process for the PhD program at BUEM University Bratislava is as follows:

  1. Please complete the registration form below for a Application.
  2. Upon receipt of the documents, they will be forwarded to BUEM University Bratislava for review.
  3. After successful admission, please send the notarized copy/copies of your degree certificates by mail to BUEM University Bratislava.
  4. Upon receipt of your documents, you can register for the admission interview at BUEM University Bratislava; for this, you will receive a link to the registration form.
  5. Please submit your research concept by August 2023. Please send the PDF by email to the German-speaking Program Director Marcel Lincényi (marcel.lincenyi@vsemvs.sk) and to the Academic Advisor Mag. Christina Tschikof (studienberatung@pobs.at).
  6. The admission interview will take place in September 2023 at BUEM University Bratislava. Here you will present your research concept to a committee. Afterwards, you will also find out if you have been admitted to the PhD program. Upon positive feedback, you will receive the contact details of your supervisor and all necessary documents directly from the university.
