PhDr or PhD – What’s the Difference?
Both PhDr and PhD can increase professional and social standing. Professionally, they can lead to career advancement opportunities with more recognition, responsibility, and higher income. Nevertheless, there are differences between the two degrees. PhDr and PhD are doctoral degrees that are assigned to a different Bologna classification and thus may be used differently. This causes confusion, which, however, does not prevent legal action from being taken in case of unlawful use of the title.
More about the differences between the two doctoral degrees PhDr and PhD can be found here.
